50% OFF ALL Locksmith Services! 586-381-9916
Z's Lockout Service is proud to be an american owned company! As a fellow American, Army Veteran, and the owner of the company, I will proudly be offering 50% off all Locksmith Services in the Macomb County area (Service fee still applies). Imagine getting locked out and you call a company that charges $150.00! Well not this week! Normal lockouts would cost $65.00 for this week, I will charge $35.00! Most locksmith companies won't even pull into your driveway for that much! Not only that, but I personally will be the one doing the work along with another Veteran soldier that works for me. We proudly service the great cities of Sterling Heights, Troy, Roseville, Warren, Clinton Township, Fraser, Harrison Township, Eastpointe, and my home town St. Clair Shores. Even if your not on the list, give us a call and we will be there. Let an American company with American workers that served proudly (and still serve) take care of you on the most patriotic week of the year!

How to make your home a safer place.
As I progress in life and grow my business, I have crossed paths with many intelligent people. Some of those people were from my Locksmith business, Some have been from soldiers I've worked with while serving in the United States Army (still serving), and some are from personal experience and what I've saw over my long 24 years of living. :) Here are a few suggestions to to keep in mind
1. If you have a door handle lock and a deadbolt, use them. Chances are, if a random person is going to break in, they will want to be able to do that quick and easily. If they can't get in quickly, chances are, they will move on to the next house. Window locks and closing your blinds when you aren't home are always plus's.
2. There have been many times I've gone to a customers house who have accidentally locked themselves out. I noticed with a few that some of them 1. left their blinds open & 2. Left their TV on accidentally or for their pet/s. Someone could easily notice that you aren't home and that you have left your 55 inch Samsung TV on for no apparent reason. All it takes is for the person to see something of interest for them to want to break in.
3. Made a nice new purchase? Lets say you bought your family a new Big Screen for the den or a Apple computer for the kids. When you throw away the box, don't leave it on your curb side the evening before. Either destroy the packaging so its unrecognizable or take it to a dumpster to throw away. Again, Someone could randomly drive by and see that you had purchased an expensive (or not expensive) and get some ideas.
There are always simple steps you could take to prevent home break ins. This was all based on materialistic scenarios. I have plenty of darker situations I've dealt with as a locksmith. Helping out the elderly, women that were in trouble, and young children (even babies)that have been put into a situation no one could imagine being in. Look for more from Z's Lockout Service for more security tips!

Locksmith Secrets Reveled & Money Saved! Pt.1
At Z's Lockout Service there are no secrets or gimmicks. We are cut and dry hard working people. I find it that because I serve in the Army, that I also have to be a honest american and a honest worker. There are many shady people out there, we are all very aware of that. For some odd reason the locksmith industry kind of has a low standard for the quality of workers. Here is one secret that could save you a great amount of money. If you call for a locksmith and it's a call center type situation, you will find that getting quality customer service and also accurate information will be difficult. You will also have to pay 3 to 5 times more for your service because more people need to be paid. Look at the trickle down effect. Locksmith gets paid, then the office manager of the call center, There will most likely be a supervisor, then the person taking the call, then the owner gets whats left over. For a service that would cost $45.00, you would pay $125.00 or more. I know this information because I temporarily worked for one of the largest companies in the United States for locksmiths. This company steals and lies to a lot of Americans all over the country, every day, all day. This company is the reason why I started my business. I give hard working Americans a bang for their buck. Not a "He's already here and I can't wait another 30 minutes for another locksmith" so they pay $200.00 for a job that could have cost them $50 if they picked the right company. All in all if your unsure what to do, find the company and do a quick search to see what their reviews look like.

Servicing Customers In Halloween Costums?
This is my first year in business. I'm thinking of wearing a Halloween costume as I drive to customers locations to service them. Imagine a grim reaper coming to your front door to repair your locks or install a new lock. I think it would be fun, but what would the customer think? People can be so uptight these days and I would still like to manage a good image for my business. Is it inappropriate to service customers in a costume? Would the consumer be offended by the professionalism of a Locksmith wearing such a thing? I'm a pretty big guy so I'm sure some customers would appreciate the Leonidas outfit, but then again I still could lose the professionalism points. What do you think?

60% Invalid CTR Adwords - Locksmith Chapter
It cracks me up how devious the Locksmith Industry is. I can just see, some lonely man sitting at his computer (and I'm not talking about the reflection I see in my screen) wondering why he didn't get any calls today. He see's my advertising and decides to try and shut me down at 20 bucks a click. What's funny is that I'm a two man locksmith team and these big corporations and businesses are getting threatened by the little guy. Thanks for the compliment! SO, out of 24 hours of running continues Adwords Ads, 60% of my clicks were Fraudulent from competition trying to cost me money and shut me down! If you have read my past blogs you wouldn't be surprised by this. There needs to be some sort of action to this type of behavior. Google needs to set up a connection with the big name internet providers, including mobile, and get this fixed. It's tough enough starting a new business in Michigan. Feel free to leave some feedback!

Better Business Bureau - Scam Alert! Please Read!
Article Below -
As a business owner, I try every day to work on making my business better and also respected. Trying to get accepted by the BBB is harder than you'd think. While trying to do some research I found this article. Not only does it tell people about the scams that locksmiths do, but it also mentions some others. It sucks to see this content on the internet for the fact that it's a tough industry to work in, specially in Michigan and that it's true. -
I tell customers all the time to be aware of the scams that locksmiths do. Even if they don't choose me, I will always make sure they know who is out there or at least recommend a company that is respected and not fake. Hopefully these business get busted. I've cleaned up too many of these "scam locksmith" companies. Here's an example of my latest encounter. -
Customer called a Locksmith company to get a new key for her car because she had lost it. This company she called was Israeli owned. (Israelis are great locksmiths, In Israel. The ones I've encounter here in Detroit are usually connected to the Israeli Locksmith Mafia!)The locksmith came out and cut her a new key for $90.00 with a $30.00 service fee. The customer had a 2006 Pontiac Bonnevile that needed a Transponder Key and the programming of the new key. The Locksmith came out cut the new key and just took the money and left. I actually called the owner and asked him what happened. He said "She only asked for a new key, So I Cut New key and leave" *Israeli accent* She called me in a panic because this new key didn't open her doors or start her vehicle. So not only did she have to have me come out and unlock her vehicle, I had to cut a new key that had a transponder chip in it and then program that key to her vehicle. She had to pay twice for this service not to mention I did all of my services for the same price as the Scam Company. -
Hopefully people see this blog, You never know when you'll need a locksmith. When you do, I hope you choose the right one. -
